OUR FORTITUDE BUDGET
Singapore Fortitude Budget was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat in Parliament on Tuesday, 26 May 2020. The Fortitude Budget builds on Unity, Resilience and Solidarity Budget to help businesses and individuals adapt and build resilience, amid the Covid-19 Pandemic.
E-COMMERCE BOOSTER PACKAGE
With the evolving COVID-19 situation, many brick-and-mortar retailers and heartland enterprises have been impacted. To help retail businesses diversify and find ways to reach customers, Enterprise Singapore launched the E-commerce booster package to support you in taking your business online.
FOOD DELIVERY BOOSTER PACKAGE
Given stricter safe distancing measures due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, demand for food delivery is expected to hike. As such, Enterprise Singapore has launched the Food Delivery Booster Package to support F&B businesses make the transition from offline to online sales.
SKILLSFUTURE ENTERPRISE CREDIT
The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) encourages employers to invest in enterprise transformation and capabilities of their employees. Eligible employers will receive a one-off S$10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses on qualifying costs for supportable initiatives, over and above the support levels of existing schemes.
SME GO DIGITAL
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are at the heart of Singapore’s economy, employing two thirds of our workforce and contributing nearly half of Singapore’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore’s economy, it is essential that we ensure our SMEs make the most of digital technologies to improve operations and generate new revenue.
ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT GRANT
The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) helps Singapore companies grow and transform. This grant supports projects that help you upgrade your business, innovate or venture overseas.
MULTICHANNEL E-COMMERCE PLATFROM
Singapore companies keen to export their products to overseas markets for the first time1 can tap the Multichannel E-commerce Platform (MEP) Programme to kick-start their cross-border online businesses.
The MEP Programme, under the Grow Digital initiative by Enterprise Singapore and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), connects SMEs – whether manufacturers, retailers or distributors of products – to MEP solution providers, which will help them to list and sell their products on multiple overseas e-marketplaces.
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT FUND
The Business Improvement Fund (BIF) aims to encourage technology innovation and adoption, redesign of business model and processes in the tourism sector to improve productivity and competitiveness.
DIGITAL RESILIENCE BONUS
Digitalisation is a key enabler for businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity, so that they can emerge stronger. It will also help businesses to be more resilient and adapt to new post-COVID norms.
The Digital Resilience Bonus (DRB) aims to uplift the digital capabilities of a broad base of enterprises. For a start, DRB will be targeted at the Food Services and Retail sectors which are more affected by safe distancing requirements in the reopening of the economy.
